Year 2 Gardening Club

Year Two Gardening Club

Friday 13th March - Today, we planted the remainder of our seed potatoes!

They have been chitting away in Y2AH for the past month. Some have gone in the greenhouse, some straight into the bed and some in black bags outside our classroom. We have even set up one in a clear box inside Y2AH, so that we can watch one grow!

We can't wait to watch them grow into plants over the spring!

Check back soon for updates about all our growing adventures!

Friday 31st January - Over the past two weeks, all classes have had the opportunity to sow seeds for cauliflower, asparagus and Pak Choi.

We have even started chitting potatoes in Y2AH in preparation to plant for an early harvest!

The spring onions have sprouted and the tomato plant that we rescued at the start of the year has begun to grow at an alarming rate!

Check back soon for more updates from Gardening Club!
