Momin Hashmee (Co-opted Governor)
After graduating from the University West of England with a degree in Business & Marketing, I have spent 15+ years in various marketing roles at multinational technology companies such as Intel, Microsoft, Nokia and Lenovo - I am currently working as EMEA Partner Manager Lead at Dell Technologies.
I am also a Mental Health First Aider and a Work & Life Coach. I help individuals with various workplace challenges affecting their Mental Health and Wellbeing, such as Anxiety, Work/Life Balance and Stress Management.
On a personal note, I moved to Gatley, Cheadle in 2014 after 6 years in London and 25 years in my hometown, Bristol. I currently have two children who attend Oak Tree Primary School, two children in High School and an 18m old baby.
I have been extremely fortunate to have travelled throughout the world and to collaborate with people from all kinds of diverse backgrounds on a daily basis throughout my career. I have also lived in various locations throughout the UK each with its own socio-economic, religious and cultural diversity. I firmly believe we can bridge gaps within communities through focusing on similarities and understanding differences through empathetic listening. I am honoured to be involved with Oak Tree Primary School and look forward to providing whatever assistance I can to help the school grow.
Momin is the Inclusion Champion on the Governing Body and has a role linked to the Wider Curriculum.
