Keith Holloway (Local Authority Governor)             

I have lived in the catchment area for over thirty years, and both my daughters attended Queens Road School before going on to local secondary schools and Sixth Form Colleges.

I was on the Governing Body of Orrishmere School and was delighted to have the opportunity to serve on Oak Tree School. I am an elected councillor (for Cheadle and Gatley ward) so am able to provide a link from the school to Stockport Council.

My role on the Governing Body includes input on the “wider curriculum”, subjects outside the basic areas of reading, writing and mathematics, which gives me the opportunity to visit the school, observe lessons and talk to members of the teaching staff. I take every opportunity to support social events at the school - limited over the last 18 months, but hopefully now moving back to normal.
