Welcome to the Year 5 Class page! 

Who will you meet?

There are three Year 5 classes and these are taught by Miss Grimshaw (5LG), Miss Jackson (5JJ) and Miss Tilzey (5JT). 

The adults who support Year 5 are Mrs Durbin, Mrs Hewitt, Mrs Hall, Mrs Walker and Mrs Adams.

Our midday assistants are Mrs Brazil, Mrs Hall, Miss Bainbridge and Mrs Phillips.

Key Information:

PE will be on a Thursday (taught by Sports Coaches) and Friday (taught by the teachers). On PE days, Year 5 children come to school in their PE kits, which they stay in all day.

*January until April Year 5 children will be swimming on Tuesdays. This will replace the Friday PE lesson.

Children in Year 5 can join the 100 book challenge, if they wish. These books are changed on a Friday.

Spellings are worked on throughout the week. They are sent home on a Friday and tested on the following Friday.

Demon tables are every Wednesday.
