Paula Ollerenshaw – Parent Governor

In July 2026 I was successful in being elected as a parent governor. I have one daughter who is going in to Year 3 (not sure where that time has gone). the school have supported both her and us as parents, in a considerable way, navigating a journey we did not expect to be on with lots of input from the SEN team.

I have 28 years' experience of working at the Manchester Metropolitan University and have been involved in Initial Teacher Training for all that time including many Ofsted inspections, where I have provided data and supported the SLT in their arrangements and dealings with Ofsted. I lead my team in making placement arrangements for students on Initial Teacher Training courses, liaising with schools and academic colleagues.

I look forward to my work as a parent governor and the challenges that may bring.
