Welcome to the Year 3 Class page! 

Who will you meet?

There are three Year 3 classes and these are taught by: Mrs Ward (3SW), Miss Sant (3RS) and Mr Logan (3AL). 

The adults who support Year 3 are: Mrs Matthews (3SW), Mrs Purba (3RS), Mrs Smith (3AL) and Mrs Brazil (3AL).

Our midday assistants are: Mrs Matthews (3SW), Mrs Hall (3RS) and Mrs Brazil (3AL). 

Key information:

PE for Year 3 will be on a Tuesday and Friday each week, so please make sure that you have your named PE kit in school on these days. Swimming lessons for Year 3 will take place on Tuesday mornings during the Summer Term. This will be in place of the Tuesday PE lesson.  

Reading books are changed once a week if your child's books have been read at home and their reading record has been signed by an adult. Please check your child's reading record to see which day this will be on. 

Children in Year 3 can join the 100 Book Challenge if they wish. These books are changed on a Thursday each week.

Spellings are worked on throughout the week during taught spelling lessons. They are sent home on a Friday and tested the following Friday each week. 

Demon Tables challenges take place on a Friday each week.
