Our School Council Mission:

At Oak Tree, we have a Smart School Council, which enables all of our pupils to have a voice in a meaningful way. Their opinions are heard, valued and taken into consideration when making decisions which impact upon them. Their voices help to inspire active change within our school.

Our Smart School Council is split into three key parts:

Communication Team:

Elected pupils that meet fortnightly, acting as representatives for their peers and run the school council.

Class meetings:

Fortnightly, pupil led meetings within each classroom that allow every pupil to voice their ideas and opinions through a voting and suggestion system.

Action Teams:

Pupil led, adult facilitated, groups who create change within the school. Working on clubs, events, and fundraising or awareness days!
