EYFS 

Writing is clearly embedded in the EYFS curriculum. Children use writing across areas but it is also explicitly taught.

An overarching text is used for each topic, enabling narrative immersion to be used to engage and excite the children.

The magic story box and tales toolkit strategies are used to bring writing to life and support all children.

KS1 & KS2 

These documents show the texts used and genres covered across the school. These link to the overarching themes  topics covered in the foundation subject and include texts which represent and discuss the 9 protected characteristics.
