Welcome to the Year 1 Class page! 

Who will you meet?

There are two Year 1 classes and these are taught by Miss Marshall (1CM) and Mrs Ogden (1LO). 

On Wednesday the classes do PE with our Sports Coaches and Music with Mrs Thompson.

The adults who support Year 1 are Mrs Clarke, Mrs Reville- Chadwick, Miss Rusby, Mrs Atkins, Mrs Albiston and Mrs Brookes.

Our midday assistants are Mrs Albiston, Mrs Atkins and Mrs Clarke

Key Information

PE for Year 1 will be on a Monday and Wednesday each week. On PE days, children are to come to school wearing their PE kit in order to maximise learning time. 

PE Kit Requirements:
• Burgundy PE sports top (available with Oak Tree badge)
• Black shorts/black jogging bottoms
• Black zip up hoodie or school fleece
• Sports trainers
All jewellery must be removed for PE and swimming, and long hair should be tied back. Earrings ARE NOT ALLOWED for ANY PE session and must be removed before school.

Please ensure your child has a named water bottle in school with them each day. There are cups available in the classroom, should you forget.

Reading books will be changed once a week. We will collect them on Wednesday and send them home on Friday.
