Udaydeep Bola (Co-opted Governor)

I currently have a daughter at Oak Tree, my son finished year 6 last year to go on to high school. I also have experience of being a school governor, and chair of
resources committee at another local school.  

I work in financial services technology in product management and work with UK banks and building societies to build all the software they use.  I also hold a non-executive director position at a housing association and chair their audit committee (which is more exciting than its sounds!). 

I have lived, studied and worked in the UK and India and as a consequence have exposure
to a diverse range of educational settings. I am committed to continuous improvement, and consequently completed a Master’s degree in 2022. Outside work, I am a cricket coach and I take great satisfaction from helping children enjoy sport.  

I joined the Oak Tree board as a co-opted governor in March 2023. I hope to bring my
professional and personal experiences to the governor role and help Oak Tree succeed and create a happy learning environment for the children.
