Welcome to the Year 4 Class page! 

Who will you meet?

There are three Year 4 classes and these are taught by Mrs Scott (4SS), Mr Martin (4JM) and Mr Christie (4JC). 

The adults who support Year 4 are Mrs Hamnett, Miss Roberts, Mrs Bentley, Mrs Hewitt and Mrs Cotterill.

Our midday assistants are Mrs Leung, Mrs Brazil, Mrs O'Gara and Mrs Bainbridge

Key Information:

Children are given reading books to take home to read with an adult. These are changed regularly in school. They have a reading diary to keep a log of books and record when they have read with an adult.  Children in Year 4 can also join the 100 book challenge, if they wish. If they participated last year, they can continue using their green book log.

P.E. will be on a Friday as well as weekly swimming sessions throughout the Autumn term on a Tuesday. Your child must have a fully labelled P.E. kit in school ready for this day. 

Spellings are worked on throughout the week. They are sent home on a Friday and tested on the following Friday.

Demon tables are every Friday.
