My name is Martin Wilcock and I work closely with the SENCO and Pastoral Lead Teacher in school to ensure all pupils at Oak Tree are able to achieve, aspire and grow during their time here. I  deliver whole school training on topics such as 'Diversity' or 'Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs' as well as bespoke training to early career teachers or groups of teaching assistants. I deliver the 'Parenting Anxious Children' course alongside the Pastoral Lead Teacher. I am often involved in supporting children and families where there may be particular needs, such as providing staff with personalised classroom strategies or meeting parents to discuss approaches to manage children's anxiety at home and school.
