Welcome to the Year 5 Class page! 

Who will you meet?

There are three Year 5 classes and these are taught by Mr Christie (5JC), Mr Logan (5AL) and Mrs Douglas (5LD). 

The adults who support Year 5 are Mrs Durbin, Mrs Brazil, Miss Green, Mrs Cottrill, Miss Roberts and Mr Slater.

Key Information:

PE will be on a Friday (taught by the teachers) and Thursday (taught by Sports Coaches). On PE days, Year 5 children come to school in their PE kits, which they stay in all day.

PE Kit Requirements:
• Burgundy PE sports top (available with Oak Tree badge)
• Black shorts/black jogging bottoms
• Black zip up hoodie or school fleece
• Sports trainers
All jewellery must be removed for PE and swimming, and long hair should be tied back. Earrings ARE NOT ALLOWED for ANY PE session and must be removed before school.

Children in Year 5 can join the 100 book challenge, if they wish. These books are changed on a Friday.

Spellings are worked on throughout the week. They are sent home on a Friday and tested on the following Thursday.
