Natalie Peters
Natalie Peters (Co-opted Governor)
I have one child that currently attends Oak Tree and two that have moved through and on to high school. I also have first-hand experience of the SEND provision at Oak Tree.
I work in adult social care, running a domiciliary home care business. I am in charge of staff
and inductions, ensuring all staff are up to date and compliant. It is also my job to ensure the
business is run well and complies with all CQC regulations. This is a family business and I
recently taken over the running after my parents retired. I also run a regular social group
older people, but for all adults, providing lunch, activities and experiences for them.
I have worked in many different sectors previously, in a supermarket, as a bus driver,
at Manchester Airport and as a Special Constable for Greater Manchester Police. These
enabled me to come across people from all walks of life and from all over the world,
see many different perspectives.
I am currently ROOTS secretary. I love being able to help organise fun activities, raising
funds to better the education and experiences of our children.
Natalie joined the Oak Tree Governing Board in Spring 2023 and is a member of the Resources Premises Committee.
