Helen Pease (Parent Governor)       

I was appointed parent governor in October 2020.  I am a member of the
Resources and Premises Committee and Development Governor.  I have a
strong connection to the local area having grown up in Cheadle Hulme
and attended Orrishmere Primary as a child.  I returned to Cheadle Hulme
in 2008 and have two daughters; my youngest attends Oak Tree in Year
6.
 
I am a qualified solicitor and worked in private practice in central
Manchester for 13 years after qualification, specialising in defendant
personal injury law.   During this time, I worked extensively with schools
and local authorities.  I moved into education 8 years ago obtaining a
Diploma in School Business Management and I am currently a School
Business Manager at a three form entry primary school in Fallowfield.  I
have relished the challenges and opportunities this has brought and hope
my experience in school finances and development as well my experience
as a parent can support Oak Tree’s continued growth. 

Helen is the Development Governor and shares the wider curriculum link-
role. She is on the Resources and Pay committees.
