Welcome to the Year 3 Class page! 

Who will you meet?

There are three Year 3 classes and these are taught by: Mrs Irwin (3LI), Miss Rogers (3CR) and 3HB, who are taught by Mrs Holbrook and Mrs Berkeley.

The adults who support Year 3 are:
Mrs Hewitt and Mrs Walker (3LI)

Mrs Bainbridge and Mrs Taghinejad (3CR)

Mrs Blackburn (3HB)

Key information:

PE for Year 3 will be on a Wednesday and Thursday each week, so please make sure that you have your named PE kit in school on these days. Swimming lessons for Year 3 will take place on Tuesday mornings during the Summer Term. This will be in place of the Thursday PE lesson.  

Reading books are changed once a week if your child's books have been read at home and their reading record has been signed by an adult. Please check your child's reading record to see which day this will be on. 

Children in Year 3 can join the 100 Book Challenge if they wish. These books are changed whenever their current book has been finished and their green record has been signed by an adult. 

Spellings are worked on throughout the week during taught spelling lessons. They are sent home on a Thursday and tested the following Wednesday each week.
